Putting It Into Practice:

A framework for turning knowledge into action

You've done the training. You understand the principles. But translating that knowledge into real, everyday practice — that's where the work gets hard.

This program is designed for people who have completed anti-racism training and are ready to go deeper. We created it in direct response to what participants told us: knowing isn't enough. They needed support bringing racial equity and social justice values into their actual work, decisions, and organizations.

What We Do Together

In this process, you'll join a collective of people who share your commitment and your challenges. Together, we'll move from awareness to action — examining the blind spots, habits, and assumptions that can get in the way of meaningful change, even among well-intentioned people.

We'll work through honest, sometimes difficult conversations about social, cultural, and political realities — and use those conversations to build concrete strategies for improving the quality of life in the communities most impacted by systemic inequity.

How It Works

The program is built around the Anti-Racist Praxis Framework — a structured process of reflection, analysis, and planning. Rather than presenting a fixed curriculum, we guide participants through cycles of looking back at past decisions and actions, and looking forward to what's possible.

A key part of this work is developing Anti-Racist Guiding Principles tailored to your organization. These principles become a practical blueprint — shaping how your policies, processes, and decisions are made, and keeping equity at the center of your work.

What You'll Walk Away With

  • A clearer understanding of how racial inequity shows up in your specific context

  • Tools and language for having productive conversations about race and justice with your team or community

  • A set of guiding principles you can immediately apply to your organization's planning and decision-making

  • Connections with a committed collective who will continue to support your growth

Who Should Attend

We recommend sending a team of five or more people from your organization — not just one champion trying to carry the work alone.

The strongest teams include staff and leadership at different levels, and reflect the multicultural, multiracial, and multigenerational diversity of your community. Most importantly, participants should come ready — ready to sit with discomfort, ready to engage honestly, and ready to take on real responsibility for change.

This program works best when participation is voluntary and internally motivated. We don't recommend sending mandated participants — the work requires genuine willingness.
